Coasteering (Polzeath)

Notes: Notes: Minimum age 8 years old. Start time 10am or 2pm dependant on what you booked please arrive 15mins before this time. Wetsuits and boots provided bring swimming costume. Showers available on-site. Due to weather you may not do activities as advertised. You should be confident in the water and be able to swim 100m but you do NOT have to be a good swimmer.
Sessions 10am and 2pm most days through the summer at Polzeath on the north coast of Cornwall. Coasteering is a two hour activity of exhilaration and fun! Coasteering in Cornwall is a combination of swimming along the base of the cliffs, exploring gullies, caves, cracks and different rock formations created by the sea, also stopping on route to experience the lift and fall of the sea against and below the cliffs. Traversing and scrambling the lower level of sea cliffs above deep water and climbing the cliffs to the jumping locations. Cliff jumping can range from 1 – 10 meters in height. It couldn’t be more simple – squeeze into a wetsuit, safety helmet and old trainers then scramble, climb, swim and cliff jump your way around Cornwall's spectacular rocky coastline, turning rocks, cliffs, caves and waves into playthings! Cliff jumping is not compulsory but most people like to try it. We provide all equipment needed, wetsuits, boots, bouyance aids and helmets.
