Canadian Canoeing (Fowey)

Notes: Notes: Start time 0930 Within reason we can take any age but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Ensure that you are not worried about the clothing and footwear that you are wearing getting wet and bring a change of clothing, all just in case. All equipment provided, including dry bags to keep your things safe whilst on the water. Dress for the weather. Bring a packed lunch and a drink. Please call M: 07818037791 if you have any concerns. We need a minimum of x2 to run a session. Please contact if less than x2 to see if we have any other bookings. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and within reason we can take any age. You do not have to be able to swim as we provide life-jackets and use stable canoes.
Take a canoe journey and learn some paddle skills whilst enjoying the environment with a fully qualified paddle instructor. Using the tidal rivers around Cornwall we choose the one best suited to the prevailing conditions and give you an experience to remember.
We begin our journeys with the usual safety talk and some basic instruction before launching ourselves onto the water and heading off with the tide towards whatever destination has the best food available at our half way stage. Working only with smaller groups of no more than five canoes means that gentle skills coaching and peaceful paddling are an integral part of the day. Unless of course you all want to go a bit mad, in which case we can break out the Super Soakers.It is after all your day.
Four to Five hours duration in total and always paddling with the tide, including a break to grab some food and drink.
Due to the need to utilize the tide timetables, start times will vary throughout the year.
